PS5 repair questions, answered

The big ones are HDMI ports with no picture, power faults where the console will not turn on, overheating and loud fans, disc drives that will not read or eject, storage problems and DualSense controller stick drift. If your fault is not listed, ask us anyway.

Most repairs are turned around in a few days once we have the console and the parts in. Simple jobs can be quicker, and board-level work can take a little longer. We will give you a realistic timescale once we have looked at it.

For simpler faults we can often sort it the same day. It depends on the issue and parts, so get in touch and we will tell you honestly whether same-day is realistic.

Keep it somewhere open and dust-free and avoid stacking things on top, then get it to us. PS5 overheating is usually dust build-up, a tired fan or the liquid-metal thermal compound needing attention, all of which we can put right.

Yes. A damaged HDMI port is one of the most common PS5 repairs we do. We replace the port at board level so your console outputs a clean, stable picture again.

It depends on the fault and the parts needed, so we will not quote a misleading figure online. Tell us the symptoms or let us take a look and we will give you a clear price before any work goes ahead.

We do everything we can to protect what is on your console, and most repairs do not touch your storage. As with any repair we still recommend backing up to the cloud or a USB drive first where you can.

Yes. We fix stick drift, sticky or dead buttons, faulty L2/R2 triggers and charging or connection problems, so your controllers feel right again.

Collection and delivery is our main service: we pick the console up from your home or location and return it to you once it is fixed, so you never have to leave home. You are also welcome to drop it in and collect it yourself if you prefer.

We do. As well as the PS5, PS5 Digital, Slim and Pro, we also repair the PlayStation 4, PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro, so older consoles are welcome.
